BCW appoints five new directors in London

Burson Cohn & Wolfe has appointed five new directors to its healthcare, crisis and corporate affairs teams.
Anna Dé and Matt Foster have been appointed directors in the healthcare team. Ms Dé will be in charge of healthcare policy communications in a newly-created position that focuses on global, European and national policy communications. Her previous tenures include Incisive Health, Ogilvy Healthworld Market Access, Acumen Public Affairs and H+K Strategies. Mr Foster will be in charge of one of the team’s largest clients spanning vaccines and men’s health. His previous tenures include Porter Novelli, AbbVie, WE Communications, H+K Strategies and Amgen.
Business journalist Alex Black joins as a director in the crisis team, having previously worked at The Grocer, PRWeek and Launch.

Debbie Spitz and Nick Foley join the corporate affairs team as directors. Ms Spitz has most recently worked as communications director at Yodel, corporate practice director at Porter Novelli, and director of external communications at Coca-Cola Enterprises. Mr Foley was previously head of communications and content for the National Trust, and has also worked as head of consumer and corporate PR at EDF Energy, head of media relations and campaigns at the National Housing Federation and was a news editor at the Press Association.
