VMA appoints new marketing manager and secretary

Fiona MacGillivray, a former VMA Young Marketer of The Year Award finalist, has been appointed marketing manager and secretary at the Veterinary Marketing Association. Dr MacGillivray graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London and has practiced for eight years. She manages the animal health consultancy service MacVet Limited, and has over 10 years’ experience in technical and marketing roles in the animal health industry.
Of her appointment, Dr MacGillivray said: “I’m really excited to be working alongside the VMA team and see this as a fantastic opportunity to focus on adding value to our expanding membership. The VMA recognises there is an opportunity to offer support to many who are new to a marketing role; who have perhaps recently taken on the responsibility of promoting their practice and its services, yet haven’t had any formal training in marketing.”
