Kate Hawker leaves Edelman

Kate Hawker, MD of Edelman UK’s healthcare division for the last two years, has left the agency. Prior to joining Edelman, Kate was chair of EMEA healthcare at Burson-Marsteller. Ms Hawker has also worked as business development director at Informed and as a director and partner at FleishmanHillard. She also had her own agency, The Remedy, for 10 years before selling it to Fleishman in 2006.
Two other divisional leads have parted company with Edelman this year. Lucy Melling, MD of Edelman’s UK brand team has already gone, and Rachel Bower, corporate reputation lead, will leave in July to join MHP as their new head of brand and reputation.
