Product Recall on Isathal eye drops

A batch of Isathal eye drops for cats, dogs and rabbits made by Dechra has been recalled by the VMD.
A directorate said “The recall for Dechra’s Isathal 10mg/g eye drops is due to an out of specification result found in routine stability testing.”
The products recall batch number is A72346, with the description Isathal 10mg/g eye drops, suspension for dogs, cats and rabbit. The expiry date of the product is May 2021.
Dechra plan of action is to contact wholesale dealers and veterinary surgeons and request they examine their stock levels and quarantine the products subject to the recall.
