Dr. Reddy’s launches OTC PPI for heartburn

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd has launched Lansoprazole Delayed-Release Capsules USP, 15 mg, an over-the-counter store-brand equivalent of Prevacid® 24HR Capsules (Prevacid® is a registered trademark of Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, Inc) in the US market with FDA approval. Dr. Reddy’s OTC Proton Pump Inhibitor is for the treatment of recurring heartburn that a patient might suffer two or more days a week, and comes in packets of 14, 28 and 42.
