W20 appoints two senior healthcare chiefs in London office

W20 has hired former managing director of Edelman UK’s health team, Kate Hawker, to drive the agency’s global corporate and relevance portfolio. Ms Hawker brings 30 years’ experience in healthcare comms to the role, having previously worked as an account executive at Ethical Communications, account director at Shire Health, director and partner at Fleishman-Hillard, and managing director of health and chair of the EMEA health practice at former Burson-Marsteller.
The second appointment is that of Lucie Harper, formerly Weber Shandwick’s chair of UK health practice, who will lead on the integrated comms business. Ms Harper has over 25 years’ experience in comms, having previously worked at Penny Ryder Publicity, Shire Health and Burson-Marsteller.
