Publicis Health and Mediacom collaborate with MS Society on appeal to stop MS

17th October 2019

Publicis Health, Mediacom and the MS Society have worked together to launch a public appeal to raise £100 million to put a stop to multiple sclerosis. The campaign features four people living with MS going about their daily lives and highlights some daily challenges they face whilst singing “Don’t Stop” by Fleetwood Mac. This track was selected due to the lyrics echoing the hope and ambitions within the MS community that there will be treatment in the future for the disease, and the positive changes that the Stop MS Appeal could bring about. The appeal film will be aired on Channel 4 and has digital and outdoor advertising with photography by Andy Lo Po, who worked on the campaign without financial reward.
Publicis Health Chief Creative Officer, Europe, Andrew Spurgeon, said: “Our ambition as a company is to create a world where people are equipped and motivated to take control of their health. We are proud to have worked with the MS Society, Archer’s Mark, James Lawes, Mediacom and Andy Lo Po to bring our creative concept to life in such a powerful and engaging way. The Stop MS campaign is the first of hopefully many meaningful CSR collaborations which really brings our ethos to life.”
