Oxsight raises awareness of their digital glasses in Ireland

23rd December 2019

Oxsight is continuing to raise awareness of their state-of-the-art, digital smart glasses, called Oxford Crystal and Oxford Prism – in Ireland, following a worthwhile trip in November. The innovative glasses, which have been granted a ‘Tried and Tested’ certificate by the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), have been developed to improve the visual world for people who suffer from peripheral vision loss, by using intuitive technology which increases the field of vision of up to sixty eight degrees.

Oxsight’s CEO, Rakesh Roshan, stated: “It is a tremendous honour for Oxsight to be in a position to offer the solutions to those in Ireland and we are overwhelmed by the generous support given. We have a strong sense of community so we want to use this opportunity to give back and help as many people as we can.”

A Retinitis Pigmentosa Patient, Andrew McBride, stated: “They’re life changing. I had actually forgotten how much sight I had lost until I looked at the world through Oxsight, I could see my wife, my daughters, colours and so much more.”
