Butterfly Network launches Butterfly iQ+
Smart ultrasound player, Butterfly Network, has recently launched Butterfly iQ+, featuring Ultrasound-on-Chip technology, in addition to offering new abilities including, Needle Viz technology; faster frame rates; industry-leading strength, and prolonged battery life.
Butterfly iQ+, proved to be a handy tool throughout the global pandemic, due to its ease of cleaning, portability and lung capabilities, features a manufacturing process in partnership with TSMC. The MEMS development technology from TSMC enables the ultrasound transducer to integrate with CMOS technology.
In addition, Butterfly iQ+ brings a sequence of new abilities to make rapid decisions at the bedside.
Butterfly Network’s Chief Executive Officer, Laurent Faracci, stated: “2 years ago Butterfly introduced the world’s first handheld, single-probe, whole-body ultrasound system. Since then, the device has been used by 10s of thousands of medical professionals across the globe with significant clinical, economic and societal impact.
