Optibrium collaborates with MSD

Optibrium has declared a collaboration with MSD, which will see the combination of Optibrium’s StarDrop, software for small molecule design, optimisation and data analysis, as a fundamental element of MSD’s cheminformatics foundation.

StarDrop assists researchers by rapidly identifying high-quality chemistry in hit-to-lead and lead optimisation.

In addition, the partnership will include the collaborative development of innovative methods to enhance efficiency, cycle times and productivity of the drug discovery process.

Optibrium’s CEO, Dr Matthew Segall, stated: “We are delighted to enter this collaboration to contribute to MSD’s world leading cheminformatics infrastructure. We look forward to working together to advance new tools based around StarDrop to further refine our compound design platform.”
