Christie & Co data shows that the UK dental market has had a remarkable comeback from the pandemic
According to the latest dental market report from Christie & Co, the dental market in the UK has had a remarkable comeback from the pandemic.
There was a great need for private dentistry, which could be down to a spike in video calls. Furthermore, in July, when dental practices were able to resume face-to-face care, there was a strong recovery.
Thirty-five per cent of practice owners also declared that they currently have a higher income than before the pandemic.
In addition, 85% of company owners believe sales will have completely recovered by the end of the second quarter of 2021.
Head of dental at Christie & Co, Paul Graham, stated: ‘We are delighted to be publishing our latest dental market review which – for the first time – includes opinion and valuable statistics from a range of corporate, group and independent practice owners. It’s encouraging that sentiment is so positive, and dentistry has weathered the COVID-19 storm so well to date.”
