The Engineer’s keynote conference
Those who choose to attend ‘The Engineer’ keynote conference on October 19th/20th this year will have the opportunity to listen to a few of the UK’s principal engineers speak on the part they’re taking in acknowledging the world’s most tenacious trials.
Lecturers from all aspects of the engineering industry will cover many subjects that impact the world around us and demonstrate how engineers are pushing ‘greener’ methods of producing energy, aims to support urban mobility solutions, pioneering engineering systems and medical technologies. And how these factors work against the problems that come with an ageing population.
On the 19th, the Chief Technology Officer of Rolls-Royce will speak about engineering difficulties regarding becoming carbon neutral. Chief of Airbus Defence and Space satellite will address the rapidly increasing space segment in the UK and how space technology assists in solving issues on Earth.
The 20th will start with how engineers are helping to solve healthcare challenges. Past ventilator Challenge CEO, the director of the UCL Institute for Healthcare Engineering, and head of digital at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre in Sheffield will discuss technologies that will transform the manufacturing sector in the future.
