New RPE to be revealed by Mackwell Health

At the next MEDICA exhibition in Germany, Maxwell Health will be unveiling their reusable respiratory protective equipment (RPE) ecosystem. This includes both wearable technology and toolkits which will help the healthcare industry by providing greater safety for employees in everyday operations.

The next steps for Mackwell Health are reviewing a range of innovative respiratory devices posed to enter healthcare markets. One example is Corpro’s HM1500 Medi Half Mask, this aims to improve the defence for wearers and patients- with exceptional quantitative estimates regarding the fit of the mask to each person.

One way in which healthcare industries can use reusable RPE for a longer period is by tracking and sterilising assets. This is a more sustainable approach and ensures every asset is clean and safe to be used over and over again. This means that single use plastic products will be used less frequently which reduced environmental damage.

The Mackwell Health Whitebox (a partnership between Mackell Health and the Swedish disinfection solution provider) in combination with ProtectivTRACE, (a tracking system in the cloud), means that people have autonomy regarding the disinfecting and previous uses of the RPE.

The company is currently manufacturing additions to the ecosystem product range, one example is a RPE communication system called ProtectivTALK.
