Bimeda releases rehydration tablets for lambs, calves, and kids

Bimeda UK has recently released their Hydraboost Tab, which rehydrates kids, calves and lambs that have experienced or are likely to experience diarrhoea. The product dissolves in water and allows the body to absorb fluids and restore hydration in a short space of time.

One member of the Bimeda UK team, Rachel Mallet, expressed that “Scouring is the most common disease in young calves and is consequently the highest cause of mortality, accounting for almost 50% of all calf deaths. Bimeda UK is pleased to be able to bring Hydraboost Tab to the UK market, which assists with the stabilisation of water and electrolyte balance in young ruminants suffering from, recovering from or at risk of diarrhoea.”
