Boehringer Ingelheim Human Pharma 2022 Revenue Report
JARDIANCE® and OFEV® were the main drivers of Boehringer Ingelheim’s Human Pharma division progression, with results boasting an almost 14% currency-adjusted net sales increase to €18.5 billion.
BI’s most important development and earnings generator for Human Pharma was JARDIANCE®, which is a prescription medication employed in the management of type 2 diabetes and heart failure with decreased and maintained ejection fraction.
In 2022, this led to total revenues of €5.8 billion, with a currency-adjusted increase of almost 40%.
BI’s second-best source of income was OFEV®. Patients with certain fibrosing interstitial lung disorders may benefit from being medicated with this TKI (tyrosine kinase inhibitor).
Last year, OFEV® achieved total revenues of €3.2 billion, up by over 20% when currency is taken into account.
The firm organization’s standing as the world’s top biopharmaceuticals provider was further strengthened by their total 2022 revenues reaching over €1 billion.
