Global MedTech Firm NAMSA Obtains CRI

The Clinical Research Institute (CRI) has been bought by Medical Technology contract research organization (CRO), NAMSA. Details of the acquisition have not been released to the public.

To help those working within the realms of clinical study, scientists draw on their background and knowledge in information technology and medical research.

CRI offers clinical study services to the European MedTech sector to hasten the development of scientific discoveries.

Chief Executive Office of NAMSA, Dr. Christophe Berthoux, said that the move “enhances and expands our CRO offerings throughout Europe and across all markets. This exciting acquisition presents new opportunities for us to fulfill our mission of saving patients’ lives.”

Chief Executive Officer of CRI, Dr. Thomas Fetsch, explained how they are “an unmatched partner for NAMSA, as both companies share identical values and are” dedicated “to delivering unparalleled service and resources to the medical device and diagnostic sectors.”

Founder of CRI, Elisabeth Freund, said that “together, the collective proficiency of both organizations will establish them as the foremost MedTech CRO for Cardiovascular research services across the globe.”
