Cancer Cases Increasing in Adults Younger Than 50
According to a recent investigation, the number of gastrointestinal, breast, and pancreatic cancer cases is rising in young individuals in America.
Throughout 2010-2019, breast tumors had the most impact on people under 50. However, among the early-stage tumors examined, intestinal cancer rates increased the quickest.
The statistics, according to Professor Daniel Huang, point to the need to reconsider cancer detection methods, particularly the right age to start.
“Increased efforts are required to combat the risk factors for early-onset cancer, such as obesity, heavy alcohol consumption and smoking,” said Huang, a Junior Professor of medicine at the National University of Singapore.
