Roche diagnostics signs supply deal with Nanophase
Roche Diagnostics has signed an agreement with Nanophase to use the firm’s technologies.
Under the terms of the deal, Nanophase will supply Roche with nanoparticles required for research into a medical diagnostics application. Nanophase would not divulge any further information, claiming “material terms of the agreement are confidential”.
Ian Roberts, vice president of sales at Nanophase, said: “We are obviously pleased with this long-term supply agreement with Roche Diagnostics and look forward to growth in the product line and potential new collaboration with Roche,”
“This is yet another product where Nanophase’s innovative technologies produce nanomaterials that offer unique performance attributes for optimal application performance.”
Nanophase supplies a number of industries with nanotechnologies. As well as nanoparticles, it also produces nanoparticle dispersions and custom synthesised particles.
