GE Healthcare launches business partner programme
Clinical, financial and administrative technology solutions provider GE Healthcare has announced the launch of its Centricity business certified partner programme.
The programme gives participants access to the company’s Centricity business in order to allow billing companies and third-party practice management access to revenue-cycle technology for the optimisation of client business processes.
It also aims to provide services to these companies to assist the growth of their business, through offering staff training, access to financing through GE Healthcare financial services and co-marketing programmes.
GE Healthcare states that through streamlining such business processes, physicians will have more time available to concentrate on delivering patient care.
James M Corrigan, vice president and general manager of integrated IT solutions at GE Healthcare, said: “The Certified partners programme is an addition to our growing product and service portfolio aimed at helping to bridge the gap in healthcare.”
He added that all providers, not solely larger firms, should have access to modern information technologies in order to improve the quality and efficiency of available healthcare.
Last month, the company announced that the University of North Carolina Health Care System had selected its GE Centricity business solution to enable it to streamline the performance of the organisation.
