Dade Behring increases flexibility of StreamLab product

12th July 2007

Dade Behring’s StreamLab analytical workcell may now be installed in smaller laboratories without the need for rebuilding, the company states.

The product has been redesigned to incorporate a number of space-saving features aimed at enabling it to fit into a more compact area.

Among these is a right-angled track configuration so the unit may be fitted into the corner of the room or negotiate columns and pillars, Dade Behring advises.

Meanwhile, a tube sealer promises to accommodate receptacles in a variety of sizes to eliminate human contact with samples while still open to the air.

Jim Reid-Anderson, chair, president and chief executive officer of Dade Behring, said: "These enhancements reflect our focus on developing the future of clinical laboratory automation technology.

"We remain committed to investing in new capabilities for our customers, allowing them to take advantage of today’s fast-paced changes in technology."

Mr Reid-Anderson has served on the Dade Behring board of directors since September 2000, the company reveals.ADNFCR-1050-ID-18209288-ADNFCR
