Dade Behring enters three-year MedAssets agreement

13th July 2007

Dade Behring has entered into an agreement to provide equipment to MedAssets customers, the company reveals.

The manufacturer announces that customers of MedAssets, which provides integrated solutions to improve efficiency for healthcare practitioners, are now to have access to Dade Behring’s portfolio of chemistry and automation products as part of a three-year deal.

Previous deals instigated between the two firms have already allowed for the remainder of the company’s brands to be made available, Dade Behring notes.

Chair, president and chief executive officer Jim Reid-Anderson states: "Dade Behring is pleased to continue this long-term relationship with MedAssets and its customers.

"The addition of our flexible laboratory automation systems provides a customised approach to automation, allowing clinical laboratories the opportunity to increase productivity in their laboratory."

It was recently revealed that the firm has added a 90 degree rotational track to its StreamLab unit to allow it to be installed in the corner of a workspace.ADNFCR-1050-ID-18210752-ADNFCR
