Thermo Fisher Scientific launches fluoride monitor

29th August 2007

Thermo Fisher Scientific has unveiled its new Orion 2109XP fluoride monitor, stating that it is designed for reliability and ease-of-use for users of any skill level.

The Orion fluoride monitor provides versatility and high performance, making use of scrolling step-by-step instructions for set-up, operation, calibration and diagnostics menus. The monitor maximises plant uptime and operational efficiency.

Continuous determination of fluoride, based on the standard test method for fluoride ion in water, is made possible through the design of the Orion. The monitor provides the highest quality fluoride measurements currently available for drinking water to comply with the safe drinking water act.

Features of the Orion include an easy-to-view display, expandable modules for grab sample and low-level verification and almost drift-resistant fluoride electrode technology to require less frequent calibration.

Durable and accurate, the Orion is able to deal with continuous online drinking water applications, according to Thermo Fisher.

Thermo Fisher Scientific recently introduced its VersaWeigh 300 Checkweigher for use in pharmaceutical and food industry applications.
