Randox announces launch of new cholesterol tests

14th September 2007

Randox has announced the launch of new HDL, LDL and sdLDL cholesterol tests as direct clearance techniques for fully-automated clinical chemistry analysers.

All assays are standardised against centrifugation and are highly accurate in abnormal samples, according to the company.

The Randox lipid profile tests range is supplemented by high-quality calibrators and controls as well as total cholesterol, apolipoproteins and triglycerides.

Over 1,000 clinical chemistry products are available from Randox, which states that it produces clinical diagnosis solutions based on the ethos that they should save time, labour and cost to its clients and also provide a constantly expanding range of analytes.

Based in the UK, the firm states that its core products include clinical chemistry analysers and reagents, quality controls, recombinant proteins and antibodies and environmental diagnostics.

Earlier this month, Randox announced the launch of a variety of tri-level cytokine quality controls for both regular and high-sensitivity assays.
