GRI to promote gene expression system from Applied Microarrays

GRI has announced a distribution deal for the Applied Microarrays’ CodeLink gene expression bioarray system.

According to the company, the agreement allows GRI to promote the system for mouse, rat and human whole genomes in France and the UK.

Managing director of GRI Simon Nicklin stated that the company was excited by the prospect of working with Applied Microarrays and that the distribution deal represented a great opportunity to bring the CodeLink system to clients.

Chief executive of Applied Microarrays Alastair Malcolm added: "GRI [is] the ideal partner for us, [its] range of complimentary microarray products are a perfect fit for the promotion of the CodeLink systems."

CodeLink provides specificity of up to 90 per cent probe-to-target sequence identity and a dynamic range greater than three orders of magnitude, GRI asserts.

Last month, the company announced the introduction of a new South Africa-based enzyme technology development firm called Kapa Biosystems.
