Mettler Toledo makes weighing ‘easier and more efficient’

7th November 2007

Mettler Toledo has unveiled a number of dedicated weighing tables for XP microbalances to enable users to "do their job better".

According to the manufacturer, routine laboratory tasks like weighing at nonadjustable workplaces can place a strain on the user, leading to decreasing concentration or possible imprecise operation.

"The new tables can be adjusted in height and feature arm rests, a key board drawer and a monitor stand," explained a spokesperson for Mettler Toledo.

"As result, the user can even perform longer weighing tasks under excellent ergonomic conditions," the representative continued.

In addition, the "sophisticated concept" of the weighing tables allows for vibration-free operation and therefore shorter stabilisation times of the balance, speeding up process times and increasing the quality of results.

Mettler Toledo also recently unveiled its latest graphical programming environment which aims to allow customers to customise applications in an "intuitive" way.

Already available for the IND780 weighing terminal and soon to be obtainable for the IND560, the TaskExpert is intended to provide "scalable solutions" for the firm’s range of industrial weighing terminals.
