Anachem and Innovadyne announce nano-dispensing alliance

Anachem has announced a new collaboration with Innovadyne Technologies.

Bringing together the Anachem Flexus automated liquid handler and Innovadyne’s Nanodrop high-precision dispenser, the union is intended to provide "the ultimate in nano-liquid handling technology, with seamless integration and astounding pipetting performance".

"Users can now benefit from Innovadyne’s patented non-contact dispensing expertise and Anachem’s 35 years of liquid handling experience, that together provide the forefront of nano-liquid handling technology," explained a statement from the two firms.

"This collaboration enables the Flexus automated liquid handling platform to feature a fully integrated Nanodrop as provided by Innovadyne," continued the statement.

Together the units are aimed at facilitating numerous applications including high throughput screening, assay development, PCR set, sequencing reactions and nano-spotting.

Innovadyne Technologies is a provider of "superior liquid-handling instruments" to laboratory automation companies worldwide within the HTS, genomics and proteomics markets, while Anachem is the UK market leader for specialist distribution of instrumentation and consumables to the life science research market.

Providing manual liquid handling products, plastics and consumables, Anachem represents suppliers including GE, Gilson, Munktell, Rainin, SSI and Treff.
