FGDP indicates strong conference attendance figures

The Faculty of General Dental Practice (FGDP) has indicated that a number of events it organised recently was a notable success and attracted record numbers of attendees.

Among the key dentistry events staged in recent weeks was the FGDP’s VT Open Day, which saw the MJDF examination processes discussed and experts explain some of the finer points and latest developments in the field of restorative dentistry.

Elsewhere, a corporate open day instigated by the faculty was staged earlier this month, at which visitors from around the world were given the chance to see for themselves the cutting-edge dentistry technology being developed at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

At the same event, the FGDP’s dean outlined the progress being made by the faculty toward extending the provision of training schemes for the growing field of aesthetic dentistry.

The Royal College of Surgeons is also set to play host to the FGDP later this month as it stages the organisation’s annual dinner on February 29th.
