Randox wins business award

Randox Laboratories has won a Business of the Year award.

The international diagnostics company, which is headquartered in Northern Ireland, scooped the accolade at the Belfast Telegraph’s Business Awards.

As well as being crowned overall top business, the firm also won the service to business award – a reflection of the work achieved in the engineering department.

The ceremony, which is in its ninth year, was held on Friday night at the Ramada Hotel in Belfast.

Randox aims to revolutionise healthcare by continuously improving diagnostic solutions.

It claims that it has become "number one in many niche sectors" globally and now has 25 international offices.

A company statement said: "These prestigious awards pay recognition to businesses throughout Northern Ireland who have made a significant impact on the economy and the industry they work within.

"[We] were ecstatic to win the business of the year award."
