AMO awarded for delivering customer satisfaction
An eye care specialist has received an award for its excellent customer care for the seventh time.
California-based company Advanced Medical Optics (AMO) won the Omega NorthFace SoreBoard Award (NSA) for “consistently exceeding customer expectations”.
Senior vice president of global customer services Angelo Rago said that getting the award for the seventh time confirmed AMO’s “commitment to achieving customer loyalty through exemplary service”.
“Our goal is to continually look at ways to innovate and improve upon the customer experience,” he added.
The NSA is presented every year by the Omega Management Group; this year a total of 27 companies qualified.
The criteria used the measure the effectiveness of customer service include technical support, field service, customer service and account management.
AMO is based in Santa Ana and employs approximately 4,200 staff at locations across the world.
It has operations in 24 countries and markets its products in about 60 countries.
