JJ firm Biosense Webster to showcase ablation therapy portfolio
Biosense Webster (BW) will present its complete portfolio of products and solutions relating to ablation therapy at the Heart Rhythm 2008 conference, it says.
BW, a Johnson & Johnson (JJ) company, say the presentation of its Complete Ablation Solutions will demonstrate its commitment to electrophysiologists (EPs) and catheter ablation practices.
It described its technologies as “cutting-edge” and “innovative” and said was “proud” to offer so many products and services to this sector.
President Shlomi Nachman said: “We offer solutions – real and lasting solutions that can help doctors change the lives of more and more patients every single day.”
The company’s products include the Carto XP system, the Cartosound Image Integration software module, the Thermocool Irrigated catheter and Lasso Circular Variable Mapping Ccatheter.
The first useful deflectable tip catheter was pioneered by founding partner Will Webster more than 30 years ago.
BW has developed systems to enable EPs to access to 3-D, real-time, color-coded views into the heart’s electrical activity, enabling more precise diagnosis and treatment, it says.
