Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health makes appointments
Intervet/Schering-Plough has appointed Marc Dickie as its head of global swine, it has been reported.
Web resource ThePigSite.com explains that Mr Dickie – who will report to Ruurd Stolp, senior vice-president and president of animal health – has been head of global marketing for Intervet based at Boxmeer in the Netherlands since 2006.
Prior to holding that position he was head of marketing and sales for the firm in Austria.
The holder of a PhD from the Veterinary University in Vienna, Mr Dickie has also been employed in a number of consultancy positions as well as the title of assistant professor at the seat of learning.
Other heads of the firm’s global species teams will also report to Mr Stolp, the site notes.
In other news, Schering-Plough recently announced the appointment of Janet M Barth as its vice-president of investor relations, a role which will see her responsible for a global investor relations programme for the firm.
