United Drug appoints new executive director

United Drug has appointed Alan Ralph as its new executive director, it has been announced.

Mr Ralph joined United Drug in 1999 and having worked in various aspects of the business he is to take up his post as executive director with immediate effect.

The company supplies services to healthcare manufacturers in the UK, Holland, Belgium and the US, as well as Ireland, where Mr Ralph is a fellow of the national Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

United Drug said it was pleased to have made the appointment of the man who had been working as its managing director for pharmaceutical wholesaling for the past three years.

In April of this year, United Drug announced that it had completed the acquisition of both the Universal Conference and Incentive Travel companies in multi-million pound deals designed to boosts position in the healthcare retail supply markets around the world.
