Dentsply hosts dentistry workshop

Dentsply, the dentistry supply company, has hosted an event aimed at bring together a variety of figures from within the pharmaceutical industry.

A one-day workshop focussing on the latest issues affecting the dental supply sector was organised by the firm and saw dozens of people come from different parts of the UK to attend.

Among those in attendance were Denstply’s bosses, as well as various figures from within the company’s Development Matters programme, which see it link up with postgraduate and undergraduate dentistry students.

The general focus of the workshop was said to be on the “future of dentistry and how a manufacturer such as Dentsply can help serve the ever changing needs of the dental community”.

Densply’s products include those used in whitening and restorative dental procedures, while others are used primarily to enable dentists to avoid instances of cross infection.
