Schering-Plough promotes allergy medication
Schering-Plough is promoting its allergy medications with the help of a world class athlete ahead of the Olympic Games in Beijing.
The company is keen to stress the usefulness of its Claritin product and has enlisted the help of the USA’s most successful gymnast Shannon Miller to do so.
Ms Miller has won seven Olympic medals in various gymnastic events and she suggests that using Claritin has helped her to control allergies that have previously left her suffering watery and itchy eyes.
“I take Claritin because it works hard to provide relief from my worst allergy symptoms all day without making me drowsy,” she explained.
“It is an honor to have one of America’s greatest athletes on the Claritin team,” noted TJ Higgins, group vice president of marketing at Schering-Plough Consumer Healthcare.
Schering-Plough currently has research teams working on the development of potential treatments for conditions including respiratory and cardiovascular diseases.
