Hospira to present at healthcare conference

Pharmacy supplier Hospira has announced its chairman and chief executive officer is planning to make a formal presentation at the Morgan Stanley 2008 Healthcare Conference.

Christopher B Begley will speak at the event, which is set to take place on September 9th 2008 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City at 09:45 Eastern time.

Interested parties will be able to listen to a live audiocast via the investor relations section of the Hospira website

“Listeners should log on approximately ten minutes in advance to ensure proper computer setup to receive the audiocast,” the company said.

It added that slides accompanying the presentation will also be made available via the site, while those who miss the live broadcast can listen again online 24 hours after it is made.

Earlier this month, Hospira reported “substantial progress” had been made during the second quarter of 2008, with the company generated drug sales of around 450 million pounds during the period.
