Windsor Scientific to showcase products at two events

Windsor Scientific will showcase its range of scientific research instruments at two conferences later this month, the company has announced.

The first will be the European Corrosion Congress (Eurocorr) 2008, which looks at the "critical" role of corrosion science, technology and engineering in extending the life of materials.

The event, which focuses on the petroleum service sector, runs from September 7th to 11th in Scotland’s capital city Edinburgh.

Windsor’s products will also be on show at the Electrochem 08 symposium organised by the SCI Electrochemical Technology Group, the RSC Electrochemistry Group and the RSC Electroanalytical Group.

This conference is aimed at academics and industrial users of electrochemistry, with this year’s event examining the use of the discipline in nanoscale science. Other topics will include electrochemical engineering, sensing and materials chemistry.

Keynote speakers lined up for Electrochem 08 include Professor Nate Lewis of Caltech – who will deliver the Faraday Medal Lecture – and Professor Henry S White, a distinguished professor of analytical chemistry and chair of the department of chemistry at the University of Utah.

The conference takes place in Liverpool between September 15th and September 17th.
