SciLabware to showcase products in Bahrain

SciLabware will exhibit a range of its products at the upcoming 1st International Laboratory Technology Conference and Exhibition in Manama, Bahrain, it has been announced.

The firm produces around 4,000 types of glass and plasticware lab products including the Pyrex, Quickfit, MBL and Azlon brands.

In addition to showcasing its equipment, SciLabware will also be sending its international sales manager, Christopher Price, to the event, along with the company’s glassware product manager Andrew Davies.

SciLabware was formed by the acquisition and restructuring of former manufacturing firm Barloworld Scientific. The company’s headquarters and production plant is located in Stone, Staffordshire.

The 1st International Laboratory Technology Conference and Exhibition, or Labtech 2008, is a showcase for equipment, devices and components used in scientific laboratories. It is aimed at an audience of analysts, chemists, researchers, lab managers and business executives.

Keynote speakers at this year’s event include Professor Dr Kurt Wuthrich – the co-winner of the 2002 Nobel prize for chemistry.

The conference and exhibit will take place at the Gulf International Convention Centre at the Gulf Hotel, Manama between October 20th and 22nd.
