SpePharm chooses European logistics partner

SpePharm has announced the selection of Alloga as its new European logistics partner.

The company said this move is in line with its goal of establishing itself as a pan-European speciality pharmaceutical company focused on the registration, marketing and sales of novel products to hospitals.

Alloga will be its exclusive partner in Europe for the supply of logistic, support and distribution services.

It will provide warehousing and distribution services to SpePharm in a number of European countries where it already has a commercial products, as well as those where it plans to start introducing its products.

Jean-Francois Labbe, chief executive officer and managing director of SpePharm Holding, said: “SpePharm has been setting up sales and marketing organizations in the key European markets initially to launch and market Loramyc outside France, and is pleased to have found in Alloga a truly European partner for the distribution of its products.”

He added that the company is pleased to benefit from the market knowledge of Alloga as it extends its commercial presence in the region.

Last month, SpePharm and JHP Pharmaceuticals together purchased the rights to orally-administered malignant hyperthermia treatment Dantrium (dantrolene sodium) from Procter & Gamble.
