Thermo Fisher Scientific reveals UV-Visible spectrophotometer web tool

Thermo Fisher Scientific has announced the availability of a new version of its web tool which it states has been updated to provide more product and accessory solutions to UV-Visible customers.

According to the company, the web selector guide allows consumers in the pharmaceutical, material science and general laboratory markets to select an appropriate UV-Visible spectrophotometer to meet their lab requirements.

"The redesigned web tool now features the Evolution 60; a low-cost, 1.0 bandwidth instrument designed for powerful performance with a very compact footprint.

"Additionally, the innovative NanoDrop 1000 and NanoDrop 8000 spectrophotometers are also incorporated," Thermo Fisher Scientific states.

The tool also provides assistance for first-time users of UV-Visible, the firm notes, as the guide includes a glossary which explains technical concepts in simple detail.

Meanwhile, the company has also announced the incorporation of unique capabilities in its iCAP 6000 Series of ICP emission spectrometers, enabling dependable monitoring of elemental contaminants in biodiesel.
