Thermo Fisher Scientific launches HAAKE RheoWin 4 software

Thermo Fisher Scientific has announced the launch of the Thermo Scientific HAAKE RheoWin 4 software, which it states has "extended capabilities" for rheological investigations.

Described as user-friendly and as having an improved operator interface which provides easy-to-use standard settings for beginners, the software has a "comprehensive" list of predefined measuring and evaluation elements which can be combined via drag and drop functions.

Markus Schreyer, vice-president and general manager of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s material characterisation business unit, states the solution enables both beginners and experts to carry out measurements to the highest possible standard.

"Therefore, we now offer HAAKE RheoWin 4 with well-known and extended functionalities for Windows Vista," he adds.

Optional modules are available for those users who wish to extend the basic version of the software, Thermo Fisher Scientific notes, explaining these include add-ons for specific applications – such as polymers – as well as for GMP compliance.

In recent days, the company unveiled a new version of its web-based tool for UV-Visible customers.
