Anachem introduces vacuum-driven bottle top filters

24th October 2008

Anachem has announced the introduction of a range of vacuum-driven sterile bottle top filters called Supafil.

Supafil products can be utilised in tissue and cell culture media preparation and can filter an array of samples, the company said.

They are gamma-sterlised and non-pyrogenic, lightweight yet robust, with engraved graduations. Furthermore they are available in three volume sizes, 125ml, 250ml and 500ml.

Anachem provides four options for membranes – nylon, MCE, PES and PVDF – all in a choice of 0.22um and 0.45um membrane pore sizes.

Supafil also has a hose connector design which can be used with a number of different diameters of hoses, while its "ergonomic design and large knurls on the reservoir bottle cap enable easy adjustment".

People in scientific sales jobs may also like to look at Anachem’s pipette service, described as the most experienced and largest organisation of its kind in the UK and Ireland, with more than 25 years’ expertise.
