Idexx to build new lab, release financial results

Idexx plans to build a new laboratory, the company has announced.

People looking for animal health jobs may be interested in the news, as the new facility will create 50 new vacancies.

The laboratory ? reportedly 8,000 square feet ? will be constructed in Memphis and is expected to open by January next year.

Idexx’s distribution facility in Memphis already employs 42 people.

The animal health company is also due to release its third quarter financial results today (Friday).

A worldwide leader in veterinary, water and food applications, Idexx offers laboratory services throughout the UK. It also supports veterinarians by offering a combination of biotechnology, medical devices and information technology.

It hires over 4,500 people in more than 60 international locations, including 100 scientists, the company states.
