Mettler-Toledo develops GWP guidelines
Mettler-Toledo has developed risk-based management guidelines on Good Weighing Practice (GWP), it has been reported.
The programme has been designed to reduce measurement errors and verify regulatory compliance in weighing systems, by allowing the user to test and control instruments depending on a particular process’s risks.
It is important to strictly control laboratory instrumentation "in order to comply with internal quality requirements and external regulatory standards", Mettler-Toledo said.
People in scientific sales jobs may be interested in the GWP guidelines, which assist users through the complete lifecycle of an instrument, beginning with deciding on the right balance for process requirements.
Mettler-Toledo’s Excellence Plus balances can be used with the GWP guide, the company suggested.
Also this week, a handbook on thermosets applications has been released by Mettler-Toledo, which includes practical examples and descriptions of thermal analysis techniques.
The book is available in two volumes and is the latest addition to a range of collected applications which covers other areas such as pharmaceuticals and thermoplastics.
