Forest Laboratories confirms Q3 results announcement
Forest Laboratories will reveal the details of its third quarter (Q3) fiscal results for 2009 on Tuesday January 20th, it was announced this week.
The company, a worldwide manufacturer and marketer of a range of pharmaceutical products, has stated the Q3 figures will be released prior to the opening of the US stock market on this date.
A conference call will also be held following the announcement with the firm’s president and chief operating officer, Dr Lawrence Olanoff, as well as its senior vice-president of finance and chief financial officer, Frank Perier.
Forest’s second-quarter results for the same period were announced in October 2008 and showed fully diluted earnings per share of $0.80 (£0.54) with revenues showing an increase of eight per cent year-on-year.
The company’s results could be buoyed by the recent news that a partnership had been confirmed between Forest Laboratories and Pierre Fabre Medicament that would see the development and commercialisation of the F2695 norepinephrine and serotonin reuptake inhibitor.
Commenting on this agreement, Forest’s chairman Howard Solomon said the firm was looking forward to continuing its work with the independent French company.
“Pierre Fabre has been an outstanding partner for Forest since we commenced our alliance in 2004,” he added.
