Siemens Healthcare updates EasyLink system
Siemens Healthcare has announced the launch of a new version of its web-based quality control (QC) system.
The manufacturer has upgraded the EasyLink Informatics product to version 5.0 in a bid to provide users with an enhanced workflow capability as well as greater connectivity options.
EasyLink 5.0 can be fully integrated for use with a range of laboratory instruments and data management processes and Siemens claims it will be ideal for all types and sizes of scalable informatics facilities.
"The new web-based QC package allows customers to take advantage of real-time access to data for troubleshooting or external analysis and to better manage compliance and QC across multiple systems or sites," the firm said.
In addition, Siemens has confirmed EasyLink 5.0 will support multiple languages and can export data in a range of formats.
The company now employs an estimated 49,000 people across the globe and recently unveiled its first MRI breast scanner.
