Applied Biosystems company to hold breakout session at Cowen conference

3rd March 2009

Applied Biosystems and Invitrogen’s merged company Life Technologies is due to hold a breakout session at the upcoming Cowen and Company Annual Health Care Conference, it has announced.

President and chief executive officer of the biotechnology tools firm Mark Stevenson will also make a presentation on behalf of the firm.

After this overview is complete, the 35-minute breakout session will take place to provide delegates at the show with the opportunity to put questions to a panel of experts.

Mr Stevenson’s presentation will be made available on the company website for around three weeks after the conference, which takes place at the Boston Marriott Copley Place on Tuesday March 17th. It will also be webcasted.

However, the breakout session will not be.

In recent days, Invitrogen announced that it had received the AmeriStar Package Award from the Institute of Packaging Professionals for its GIBCO cell culture bottle, which was redesigned and launched last year.ADNFCR-1050-ID-19055524-ADNFCR
