AB Agri says it needs to increase production
AB Agri needs to raise production to meet the growing demand for its products, it has asserted.
This comment came from the managing director Richard Cooper after the company announced it had increased its product capacity by over 50 per cent following a period of rapid sales growth.
Mr Cooper explained the company was in danger of failing to meet orders before the investment, adding it should now be in a good position to achieve the necessary results.
He commented: “We can go into the future in great shape to capitalise on some exciting new product launches we have over the next 12 months.”
One of the business’ most recent launches is Econase XT and it is expected to receive its European Union licence this year.
The product will be one of the first truly novel NSP enzymes to be launched in recent years and should benefit producers by saving them money, Mr Cooper concluded.
Last month, the company announced it had purchased the Flixborough feed mill in a further effort to deliver quality nutrition products to the UK’s pug and poultry supply chains.
