Eppendorf reveals new products in catalogue

Eppendorf has unveiled its latest catalogue for 2009 and included a range of new products.

Devices for specific laboratory application areas such as sample preparation, PCR/qPCR, microarray, automated liquid handling, centrifugation and cell technology are all listed in the brochure.

Some of the newest products Eppendorf announced it was now making available to clients and those in science sales jobs are the Mastercycler pro, the Concentrator plus, the BioPhotometer plus and the Centrifuge 5430.

News of the catalogue’s publication follows a recent announcement from the firm that it was launching new Polypropylene Microplates 96 and 384.

Using a new well design, the devices enable efficient mixing and good recovery rates, the company said.

Other benefits provided by the microplates include optimised automation and reliable sealing, together with OptiTrack alphanumeric labelling.

Last October, Eppendorf highlighted the advantages scientists and researchers can see when using the epTIPS LoRetention during sampling.

It said this tool allows nearly 100 per cent of solution to be transferred.
