The Harley Medical Group reveals more men having Botox

The Harley Medical Group has revealed an increase in men opting for Botox treatment.

In 2008, the company saw a general increase of six per cent year-on-year for the injections, which can be used to prevent excessive sweat, as well as plump up wrinkles.

Now, male customers account for 20 per cent of all botox patients across the firm’s 26 clinics, making it the second most popular procedure that the group performs.

Dr Nick Milojevic from the business explained that more men are coming into the clinics asking them to look younger.

“Many of my younger patients opt for ‘Baby Botox’,” he noted. “[It is] a lighter variation of the treatment that uses extremely low doses of the toxin, giving a subtle and natural effect.”

Earlier this month, the Harley Medical Group reported an increase in the number of women undergoing body balancing ? a process to balance out the ration of waist-to-hips-to-chest- surgical procedures.

It also reported a growing number of female customers undergoing “pear reshaping” to reform the lower part of the body.
