Alk-Abello announces dividend payment
Alk-Abello will pay a dividend of five DKK (0.62 pounds) for each share worth ten DKK.
The decision was met at the company’s annual general meeting which was held on March 27th.
From now until the next yearly assembly, the board of directors has been authorised to allow the company to purchase its own B shares.
These will be bought with a nominal value of up to ten per cent of the share capital as it stands at market price on the date of acquisition.
At the meeting, Jorgen Worning, Thorleif Krarup, Nils Axelsen, Anders Gersel Pedersen were all re-elected to the board of directors.
President and chief executive officer of Copenhagen Airports Brian Pedersen was also voted to join Alk-Abello’s board.
Last week, the pharmaceutical company singed an agreement with Novozymes to allow some industrially produced allergens to be used in the former’s future allergy immunotherapy tablets.
Under the terms of the arrangement, Novozymes will develop a process for recombinant production of cat allergen on an industrial scale and Alk will have exclusive product rights to carry out clinical development, registration and marketing of the products.
